Sagittarius 6th House Cusp: Interesting Daily Life

Work and Employment

When dealing with work matters, they’re direct and to the point. Pressing on is what matters. Sticking to the same thing for too long annoys them a bit as it feels like a drag. Naturally equipped with the wisdom that holding down the wrong position will inevitably make them miserable and waste their best years, they go for roles that are fulfilling and exciting. Personally, I think this is wonderful. I’m a huge advocate for following your greatest joy in life because life is too short for anything else!

Some careers traditionally associated with this sign include education, research, publishing, media, travel, international affairs, languages, and sports. Of course, these days, people are a lot less likely to work in brick and mortar places as so many people work remotely, mainly from home. Remote work for these people is a dream come true because it allows quite a bit of freedom including travelling while working.

Sagittarius is a fire sign and all of the fire signs prefer to take the lead. Sometimes, this means running a business. If they choose to do this, they’ll pick a hugely enjoyable business and run it with tremendous energy, enthusiasm, and optimism. If they need to hire employees, they’ll opt for people with upbeat, can-do attitudes. As employers, they’re encouraging, supportive, and prefer to look on the bright side during hard times.

Service to Others and Responsibilities

Responsibilities are carried with enthusiasm because they don’t often agree to do things they dislike in the first place. In some cases, they could view caring for others as spiritual work. Depending on the situation, they can be eager to tackle a challenge, make a difference to the lives of others, and add to their spiritual knowledge while doing so. But owing to the sign’s free-spirited nature, these people prefer not to be too restricted by their obligations.

Their service to others could involve working with people overseas, such as in international aid where they can make a big difference and meet new people from different backgrounds. Teaching abroad and fuelling the young minds in far away lands is also something they may find fulfilling. This sign is also associated with diplomacy. Part of their service to others may involve maintaining good relations with different groups of people especially abroad but also in their own country.

Trivial Matters and Solving Problems

Since this sign is open-minded and keen to learn, they are happy to listen to the thoughts of others, especially when attempting to resolve issues. Thanks to the mutable quality of Sagittarius, these people are pretty flexible when it comes to working things out. They might even be inclined to embrace uncertainty and negative situations as learning opportunities instead of depressing setbacks, which I think is both wise and refreshing!

Daily Routine and Order

During the course of their day, they strive to keep a positive outlook and enjoy encouraging others to do the same. Their good attitude helps them to cope with the inevitable ups and downs of life. It also helps to stay of trouble and attract many wonderful people and opportunities!

They gravitate towards others who have a similar glass half full outlook but can badly clash with those whose behaviour is not so positive or worse still, morally dubious.

A big variation in routine rather than set in stone is preferred. Doing something new each day, even if that means visiting a new local cafe feels fun and refreshing to them. Spontaneous mini-adventures such as this break up the monotony of everyday life help them to get through each day.

Sports could be incorporated into their daily routine with many of them keen on jogging. Many of these people like to stay in shape, healthy and full of energy so they can squeeze the very most out of their lives.

If they aren’t keen on high impact sports, low impact ones like yoga and Tai-chi could be enjoyed. I have a friend with this placement who practises Tai-chi every morning. In her late sixties, she’s still as flexible and pain free as she was at thirty. Her sessions are carried out in peaceful natural locations like local parks and beaches so she gets a good dose of grounding at the same time. Something most of use could get more of!

Pets and Animals

Small animals and pets are also ruled by the 6th. When combined with the intellectual and boisterous energy of Sagittarius, pets that are smart and lively are especially suitable. Horses, dogs, and cats fit this category quite well. Parrots are also a good choice of pet here because they can, to some extent, teach them to say certain things and even hold brief conversations with them.

Self Improvement and Well-being

Sagittarius doesn’t do things by half. It’s an all or nothing sort of sign. In the 6th, this means taking their self improvement journey very seriously. For instance, they might workout a great deal, build too a lot of muscle, or play extreme sports. The same applies to their wellbeing which they may be very thorough about, for instance, washing themselves very often, or watching their diet very carefully. But the extreme could also be the polar opposite as they might consume too much or become rather too laid back about their self-care.

Most people with this placement have a good balance between the two extremes, though. So they tend to eat well, only indulging when they feel it’s appropriate to do so, workout to stay fit and energetic, and play an average amount of sport. A good degree of self-care is often present here as they tend to focus quite heavily on their well-being.
