Taurus is an Earth sign and as such it’s naturally inclined to work exceptionally hard and accumulate material wealth and possessions. Work and Employment

Taurus in the 6th strongly suggests a strong work ethic and a devotion to the work they do. Working hard is part of their love language as it often results in them having the financial means to take good care of their loved ones. This is extremely important to them and it’s one of their driving forces in life although they also recognize that their own happiness is also a priority.

Being able to take care of themselves, including being able to afford things to make themselves feel more comfortable and secure is important to them. They want the comfortable (or perhaps even luxurious) home, car, sofa, bed etc. They also want to have plenty of sensual experiences, wear beautiful clothing and consume good food and drink.

Careers which are strongly associated with Taurus include real estate, finance, farming, dentistry, education, fashion and the culinary arts. Certainly, the whole birth chart should be considered when assessing what field someone will especially enjoy working in. For these people, and those with a lot of Taurus energy in their chart, the ideal career is one which is lucrative but also thoroughly enjoyable. It should also be quite peaceful and if there is an element of beauty involved, whatever shape or form it may exist in, all the better for it.

There is often an emotional association with what they do. They tend to be truly passionate about their work even if it may seem a bit mundane to others. I have a relative with this placement who is a medical doctor. She always wanted to be a doctor and take care of people from a very young age. She’s been living her dream career now working in a local practice for a couple of decades but she still lights up when she talks about her work and her favourite patients.

Some of these people also come to feel as if their colleagues are their family. This tends to happen when these natives work closely with others in relatively small groups over long periods of time. They can become protective over their colleagues and enjoy looking out for them and having their backs.

These natives feel that it’s important for them to be of service to others and consistently fulfil their responsibilities. Shrugging off their duties in favor of doing something purely for themselves isn’t likely here. In fact, they quite dislike it when they see others doing that sort of thing! 

They tend to go about being a responsible adult and tending to the needs of those around them in a slow yet methodical manner. They want to make sure that they cover everything there is to do. Being perfectly organized helps them to stay on top of their daily tasks and manage life with ease and grace. They don’t like to be hurried and won’t stand to be pushed into doing anything they don’t want to do. Instead, they like to do things their way, which often proves to be remarkably effective anyway. 

Trivial Matters and Solving Problems 

Small matters and the solving of them is appreciated by these natives. They are happy to pay attention to the small details of trivial matters and they are equipped with the patience needed to do so. Watch out, though because if they feel forced to do something or apologize when they feel wronged, they could react like a bull with a sore head which isn’t very pleasant! Don’t attempt to bully them and they will be content to resolve virtually any matter in a peaceful and considerate way.

Daily Routine and Order

These people find stability, comfort and satisfaction when they have their upcoming days all perfectly planned out. Order is important to them because they don’t easily contend with disorder. Living in an orderly space and leading an orderly existence also means that they can squeeze the most out of their time and then relax with loved ones or do whatever else they want. As much as they enjoy working and are very serious about doing well, they also adore being lazy and lying around.

Pets and Animals

Although the 6th is usually concerned with small furry animals these natives are especially fond of slow moving reptiles like snakes and tortoises. Those who aren’t drawn to reptiles enjoy the gentle and sedate nature of cats, rabbits and fish. If these people also appreciate the outdoors, they might like horses. Riding on them could help them to feel closer to Earth and nature. Some might even prefer traveling with them. Dogs make for incredibly loyal and loving companions and since they have the patience and dedication necessary to keep them, they could prove to be an excellent choice for them.

Self Improvement and Wellbeing

Self improvement comes slowly but surely here. These people discover new things they would like to alter about themselves as the age and deal with them after a period of careful consideration. For instance, if they suddenly realise that they haven’t been consuming enough magnesium rich food, rather than buying a supplement, they are more likely to research magnesium and ask their doctor about what they should do to increase their intake of it.

Similarly to Virgo, Taurus is very health conscious and prefers a natural approach toward self-care. As such, they often go out of their way to lead a natural lifestyle that is as healthy as they can afford. On the other hand, Taurus is also known for going overboard with what they consume. If they find that they have gained a lot of weight and it’s affecting their health, they can be pretty good at getting things back on track and if they really put the effort in, they can absolutely resist eating too much.
