General Characteristics

Naturally bright, curious, observant, lively and keen to learn, these people tend to know quite a lot about a lot. They might not spend a great deal of time learning about their interests but that’s exactly how they eventually end up having such stellar general knowledge. 

Gemini is know as the jack of all trades although I think this is a bit unfair because being so smart, many Geminian types do apply themselves and thoroughly study the subjects they’re besotted with, especially when it comes to their careers. Many of them make brilliant lawyers, doctors surgeons and so on. If they didn’t, none of them would ever rise to the top of their field; and many of them are indeed right there.

Gemini is symbolised by the twins which refers to their duplicitous nature. While there is some truth to this, Gemini is known for being multi-talented and I feel that this is a more accurate interpretation of the twins. They can easily and quite quickly switch careers, and even partners and lifestyles, thus being like more than one person in their one lifetime. Change is welcomed by Gemini types because it brings new experiences and challenges. And being highly adaptable, they tend to adjust to new experiences quickly. 

When the natal Moon is in Gemini, one possesses a tendency to rationalize their emotions. This can work well in the short-term, for example, after a break-up with someone they couldn’t see themselves with in the future. In the long-term, however, this can cause problems because we humans really do need to process our emotions fully rather than rationalize them away.

By doing, so we get them out of our system and can move on more effectively. It’s sometimes better to wallow in sorrow to really feel it and then slowly recover and move on. Having somewhat of a nervous disposition, they need to spend some time alone now and again to soothe and recharge. This could be done with family or close friends or alone. But, once they feel sufficiently recharged, rarely will they stay home for much longer. They wish to be out and about experiencing new faces and places!

When they have guests over, they’re often all from very different backgrounds with different life stories. They enjoy mixing with people of all ethnicities, careers, lifestyles and so on. They like to try to figure out what makes them tick and the more they intrigue and intellectually challenge them, the more time they desire to spend with them.
