Uranus Moves Into Gemini on July 7th 2025
Not since 1941 has Uranus been positioned in Gemini. Fingers crossed for drastic advancements in technology without another world war.
Personal Revolution, Progress and Awakening
Gemini can be so restless that it’s a wonder how it ever holds a thought long enough for anything to actually come of it. But that’s often just how it appears because it’s perfectly capable of holding thoughts, sticking to things and seeing the things its truly passionate about through to fruition. And it’s especially passionate about communication; about staying in touch with others, about articulating thoughts, ideas and feelings. Or just communicating data. Cold, hard but nevertheless, meaningful and valuable, data.
If you’ve been sitting on a decision, project or goal or whatever for a long period of time, Neptune in Aries will help it go from dream to reality but so will Uranus in Gemini. In fact, this transit has the potential to drastically speed things up because Gemini acts quickly. It might take a de-tour or three but it still acts fast and gets the job done using clear, logical steps when it’s at its best.
Your own personal communication may see improvement, too — written and spoken communication but also bear in mind that it’s beneficial to really listen to others. Talking is good because it let’s others know what you think, feel, need and want but sometimes, stopping to pay extra attention to others is also beneficial. You never know what you could glean from them, or them from you.
You might have to put more effort into things to make them happen. Gemini is an ideas sign. It can experience a thousand ideas a minute but it’s not so adept at picking the best ones and making them actually happen. And make sure to do plenty of thinking before you jump into anything new. Don’t think for too long, or else it may never move along but don’t just leap into it either. Have a plan — even a rough one will do.
Be sure to remain sociable. If you’re an introvert like me, I completely understand how difficult this can be. I dread a lot of different social situations but I also find that if I make a real effort to make conversation with others, others will make an effort with me, too. And it can be fun! Getting to know new people or spending time with people you really like naturally means spreading the love, and that’s great on a personal level but also for our species! Happier people make for a happier planet.
The truth may become a bit hidden as trickster energy is at play. But isn’t all that bad. We can learn to listen to our intuition and act on what it communicates to us. Is that man really interested in me, or is he just after what I can give him? Is this job truly worthy of my skills, time and energy? Is the estate agent telling the truth about the repairs being made before I sign the tenancy agreement and move in? All these questions and more can be answered by listening to your gut.
The things about society that gave us comfort in the past may change, if they haven’t already. Politically, things have changed and are changing. Some may be very happy with the changes, others not so much. But clinging hopelessly to the way society once was will not do. During such times, we can communicate how we feel and lobby for change, but one of the most important things we can do is find inner strength, inner comfort and increase our ability to self-soothe. How can we do that? We can stay away from, or limit the amount of, information we consume that makes us feel bad, whatever that may be from neighbourhood gossip to the news. We can spend more time in nature and in enjoyable company and places. We can even make our homes look and feel nicer by changing up the decor. There are many, many things we can do to feel better, stay balanced, and make personal progress.
Feelings of loneliness and isolation could prevail at this time despite your best efforts. Of course, there can still be plenty of socializing — we all have free will choice, but when at home by yourself, you may feel a little more alone than in recent times. I think this provides an opportunity for reflection and deciding what you would like your future — near and far — to look more like. If you’re already exactly where you want to be in life, you probably won’t experience this.
The Dawn of a New Age in Tech, Communication and Society
What an interesting time to be alive. Pluto is now in Aquarius. Neptune is settling into Aries. Both transits of these generational heavy-weights signify major changes in technology, science and spirituality, and we’re seeing those changes taking effect right now with the advent of A.I., quantum computing, an increase in spiritual awakenings, and lots more besides.
But on July 7th 2025, Uranus will enter Gemini where it will remain for seven years until 2032. It’s clearly joining forces with Pluto and Neptune to advance life on Earth. Perhaps it felt left out? I don’t blame it. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of the cosmic fun?
Both Uranus, the ruling planet of Aquarius, and Gemini are associated with change, technology, networking and innovation. We can therefore reasonably expect to witness some huge changes in these fields. Of course, Uranus is unpredictable and known for sudden changes, and Gemini also is to some extent. Neither sign is known for stability. So we may see some sudden changes in these fields as well as some inventions that we never thought could be possible. Teleportation, perhaps? Who knows.
The last time Uranus was in Gemini was in 1941, in the midst of WW2. England, my home, was being bombed to bits, especially London where I live now. It was bombed so extensively and so often that a couple of houses down from me were decimated one night. Some countries experienced less loss and hardship than others but no doubt the whole planet was adversely affected by it in one way or another.
It was a difficult time. For many, it was an absolutely heart-breaking and miserable time. But many also survived and prevailed and a great deal of technology came about as a direct result of that war. Specifically, transport and communication technology, both of which are Geminian themes. Radar revolutionized military strategy by detecting enemy ships and aircraft. Sonar did the same for submarines. Jet engines also came about and forever changed aviation. Alan Turing created Bombe, which eventually foiled Hitler’s movements and helped us win.
In addition to all that tech helping us out at the time, it changed the world for the better forever. It’s thanks to this period and its inventors that we can now make calls from virtually anywhere on the planet, send texts, IMs, and jump on a plane and visit another state or country in a handful of hours — or less! This period undoubtedly permanently altered the way in which we communicate and connect with one another in massive ways.
Of course, it wasn’t all positive advancement. Many of you will recall that the unfortunate A-Bomb was also developed during this time, much to the dismay of the peaceful people of this planet. Great harm has been inflicted on humanity since it’s invention with the most notable use on Hiroshima. Did all those innocent people, children, and animals deserve to die? I don’t think so. I think the A-Bomb came as a huge shock to humanity, especially when people saw, with photographic evidence, what it could do to other human beings. It was a sudden change in direction for our species, and it was also an invention that most people could never have predicted.
As we raise our individual and collective frequency and move into a higher dimension (some call it 4D, others 5D), we’re beginning to see with our own eyes, more and more changes on this planet. More people are experiencing spiritual awakenings, more people questioning the status quo, and more people are realizing that it’s better to be kind and tolerant as that will help them personally by attracting more pleasant people to them, but also collectively because each one of us make up the collective. I think that this will speed up considerably during this transit. Gemini is one of the most open minded, tolerant signs. It also loves to be around others and communication. Expect more people to be talking about their spiritual beliefs, what they are (they astutely don’t have to be New Age) and others to be “waking up”.
Ultimately, all is one, and any spiritual, or non-spiritual person who has chosen the light in this incarnation will help to raise the planet’s frequency. Many people will also have their own unique spiritual ideas to share, and how wonderful it is that we don’t all think the same way. Different perspectives are what make our experience on Earth varied and interesting. Of course, no matter what anyone believes, everything is love because everything is Spirit. But it’s nice that while we’re here, we can all own and share our different thoughts and ideas on life and and what lies beyond it. So, it’s very likely that there will be a lot more inner exploration happening during this transit.
