Most astrology lovers look up their pet’s sign. So you’re certainly not alone. Although there’s a lot more to them astrologically speaking than their Sun sign, I think it can still provide plenty to go on!

Aries Cats

So you have an Aries cat. In this case, watch out… literally! These cats are super active, impulsive, vocal and determined. Any game they play, especially with other cats, they intend to win. They’re the most entertaining and energetic of felines, and they’re always up for a challenge!

Think of your Aries cat as an attention-seeking toddler. They want to play for the sake of playing but they also need your eyes on them. Physical play is the love language for these cats as they thrive in your presence.

With driven and passionate Mars being the ruling planet of the fiery sign of Aries, these cats often see nothing else but their goal in front of them. If they want a snack, they will not wait patiently but rather go get it themselves if they can. And if your favorite vase or plate happens to be in their way, oh well!

But we have to give our Aries kitties credit for also being hugely loving towards their owners. They’re very protective of their owners and always by their side in their times of need!

Taurus Cats

Taurus kitties tend be fairly mellow but also quite high-maintenance. If you swap their gourmet food for a supermarket brand to save a buck, they will absolutely notice — and be on your case about it. These felines want the finest food, the most comfortable bedding and most exciting toys money can buy. And because they’re so sweet and gentle, they can easily get whatever they want.

With Taurus being a fixed sign, these cats can be exceedingly stubborn at times despite having an overall calm and easy-going demeanour. This might seem paradoxical but Taurus cats make it look very natural.

Many of these cats have a favorite spot in their home just like they prefer a certain type of food. Their energy level is not typically very high and they like to lounge around for hours, enjoying their comfortable spaces.And if you want a happy cat, you shouldn’t try to work around their preferences because they mean the world to them.

Gemini Cats

These furry companions absolutely adore company. They are highly sociable and love to talk… I mean meow! Being so vocal, it can sometimes feel as if you’re actually having a conversation with them. And who knows, perhaps you are to some degree! Through their meowing and various funny little noises, they let you know how they feel and what they need and want, in their own little language.

Your Gemini cat may sometimes come across as having more than one personality so you might struggle to really figure them out. The dual nature of Gemini also manifests in other ways. For instance, they might get bored of eating the same food for longer than a week, so they don’t hesitate to surprise them with new things as often as possible. Doing so will help keep them mentally stimulated and engaged.

These kitties adapt easier than others to new environments so moving them around or letting them roam free outdoors should probably be encouraged (if they’ll be roaming in safe places, of course!).

Cancer Cats

These cats are remarkably intuitive. They feel everything deeply and observe everything so you are truly blessed to have one of them in your life. Be careful because they are very responsive and in tune with your emotions too.

They say cats absorb all the negative energy around us in order to shield us from it and protect our auras. And when it comes to Cancer felines, this is exactly what is going on. They love you so much that they want to see you happy all the time and your emotional stability makes them feel safe. If you’re sad, they’ll come to cuddle with you but also absorb some of your sadness. If you’re happy, they’re the best ones to celebrate with.

These cats love to spend time with you, sleep with you and keep you plenty of company. They thrive in your presence and ultimately, this is what makes them happy. But we can’t forget about their moody side which can make them act wary and distant at times. They typically withdraw to recharge so if your cat hides in a cabinet for a few hours, let them be; they’re recalibrating their energy and will be back by your side once they’re ready.

My own cat is a Cancerian. Speaking from personal experience, these cats are especially gentle and sweet natured but also extremely sensitive. They can also be very defensive. They know what they like and what they don’t like and they wont put up with anything they don’t like. That includes refusing point blank to eat something they don’t find palatable and receiving one too many pets.

I know that my cat loves me incredibly deeply but she has remarkably strong boundaries and won’t put up with any nonsense at all. She always lets me know if she’s unhappy with something by walking away, sulking for long periods or repeatedly batting me with her delicious little paws if I pet her too much.

Leo Cats

Ah, Leo cats are something else! They naturally emulate the behavior of the king of the jungle… but in your home! But fear not as these cats are also extremely charming, affectionate and loving.

Your Leo cat will entertain you with their playful nature and loud, dignified voice. They occasionally like to act like little clowns and never get tired of goofing around and being thoroughly loved on. So, make sure you express your admiration and love for them as often as you can because their little hearts enjoy that more than anything else on this Earth.

These cats also like to sleep a lot so they aren’t as active as other cats. They find the best spot to relax in for a few good hours until they’re ready for round two of playtime. 

Don’t be surprised if your furry Leo friend becomes a bit jealous when you have friends over or you approach other pets. They can be very possessive of their owners and once they claim you theirs, there’s no going back. They see you as one of their pack and won’t want to risk you straying from it.

Virgo Cats

These are the cutest of helpers. Of course, they can’t quite help out with the laundry or hoovering; it’s more about their supportive presence. These cats love being by your side when you cook, clean and work. They never get tired of being around you.

Due to the meticulous nature of Virgo, these felines are also very detail-oriented. They may surprise you by hunting the smallest of bugs and most of the time they’ll succeed! They also tend to stare at everything you do as if they want to make sure you’re doing it right.

Remember that Virgos are also very neat and like leading organized lives. In cat language this translates into things like the frequent baths they give themselves, without missing any spot! Your furry Virgo feline is more of a calm and calculated companion than a frenetic playmate, but you’ll never get enough of their supportive, soothing presence.

Libra Cats

These cats possess a special kind of charm and elegance that shows in every gesture they make.

With Libra bringing peaceful and non-conflictual energy, they cherish their peace and space over everything else. Pisces Cats
