Those with Aries in the 2nd house often have good “hunches” when it comes to picking worthwhile investments.

A close friend of mine has this placement and when she was in her early twenties, she bought an outrageously dilapidated house in the North of England. I’ve always been very cautious with money so when she told me she’d bought it, I thought she was nuts! From my perspective, she was pilling her plate high with unnecessary responsibility that could land her in mountains of debt.

But she wasn’t the least bit phased by my pessimism — or anyone else’s for that matter. She had iron-clad self confidence. She predicted that the property would drastically increase in value in the future and if not, she’d happily carry on living in it anyway. Much of the renovation work was done by her and her brother. Two decades on it has almost tripled in value and she’s been making plenty from it as a rental. So she was right, it was a worthwhile gamble!

These natives are no stranger to hard work. They possess an unquenchable thirst for success. They generally live for being on the go and doing stuff, especially fun and challenging stuff. Sometimes, they do so simply for the thrill of the challenge but also because they love to compete and come out on top.

But they do need to see results quickly. If they don’t, their intense interest and enthusiasm in their work wanes fast. This is especially true if they have Aries Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars or Rising in their birth chart.

What they ultimately wish for is total freedom and independence. They don’t want to rely on anyone else to provide them with financial security. They are their own people and they march to the beat of their own drum. They see relying on others as risky and just plain horrible to be frank. As far as they’re concerned, poor salaries, grumpy bosses and windowless offices are for someone else entirely. Creating their own income puts them in charge of their own existence without worrying about their boss suddenly sacking them. 

Having said that, there’s a risk of jumping into investments without enough research and planning. Aries likes things to move quickly so the lure of fast money could be too much to resist for some of these individuals. As such, they may fall prey to get rich quick schemes like bogus crypto currencies and pyramid schemes.

Luckily, as quickly as they jump into situations, they jump out. If something turns sour or just gets boring, they won’t hesitate to cut loose. And, no, you won’t see them moping around — new and exciting things await them, as they see it!

Physical Belongings

The items we own change so much as we move through life. We buy things, collect things, donate things, give things away and then buy a whole load of new things. It’s a cycle that only ever ends when we do simply because we’re human and our needs and wants change throughout our lives.

And this is especially true of these natives. They like to change up their belongings frequently and without too much thought. Moving on and enjoying new items just feels right to them.

They may admire and collect things but they may not utterly cherish a hedgehog keyring they bought at a fun fair when they were eight years old, for example.
