Scorpio Parent Leo Child Relationship

Here are two of the zodiac’s feistiest signs. Neither Scorpio nor Leo is known for being wishy-washy nor especially flexible and easy-going thanks to them both being of fixed quality. However, they both love hard, bond deeply, and are intensely loyal and supportive—with the ‘right’ people. They also share a serious zest for living and all of the beautiful experiences life on Earth has to offer!

It’s important to bear in mind that as simple as it would be to compare Sun signs alone, astrology is, of course, far more complex. There are other planets to consider, such as the Moon and Mercury, as well as the houses.

Very importantly, there are aspects likes trines and squares between the planets within the chart to consider. Of course, as I can’t see your charts, I’ll keep things simple and offer my thoughts on how these two Sun signs are likely to relate to one another in a parent—child relationship. I’m just reminding you, dear reader, that both charts should really be studied for a far better assessment.

Different Styles of Nurturing

Leo seeks plenty of attention and validation from their Scorpio parent, mainly in the form of praise, compliments, and physical affection. She’s warm and affectionate with her parent in return.

The Scorpio parent, however, may only feel inclined to give their child these things if they feels they’re right for her. So while a parent born under another star sign might lavish their child with positive affirmations no matter what they do (or don’t do), this parent is capable of holding back a bit until they decide the moment is right, or the praise is genuinely warranted as they don’t want to be insincere (or fake) or for their praise to lose its value by being bandied about willy-nilly.

In their mind, it’s better to give praise as and when it’s appropriate so it retains its potency and meaning. In addition to this, being too full on emotionally, despite Scorpio being intense and emotional, might feel a bit overwhelming. Of course, none of this means that they don’t absolutely adore their child. They do. They just want their affection to be recognised as completely sincere.

Power Struggles

This is probably why you’re here… Many people tend to think of certain signs as being especially difficult or intense. There’s no getting around it, Leo is one of those signs, and Scorpio is another. They both also have the desire to be in charge and rule the roost. But it’s their love for one another that ultimately wins any power battle going. Both parent and child just have to be clear on what they are in charge of inside the family home so the two don’t drift into each other’s territories and step on each other’s toes. Because, ouch! That would be painful.

In addition, both signs have plenty of positive traits which can help them overcome their desire to dominate the other. As a Leo myself, I can say that we’re perfectly capable of being sweet, helpful, and mild-mannered. Not all of us are bossy, self-obsessed and theatrical.

Of course, Leo children can be loud, dramatic, and attention seeking, and enjoy having things their own way, but they tend to grow out of all that. With enough love and support from their parents, your lion cub probably won’t feel the need to assert themselves all of the time, nor seek validation and admiration from others; she already has the most cherished audience member she could ever wish for —- you!

Conflict and Resolution

Scorpio and Leo are fixed signs as I said earlier. This means that they can have very strong, fixed opinions and patterns of thought. Scorpio has a reputation for being argumentative and secretive, and Leo can be overbearing and dramatic. Both signs are passionate, intense and additionally, volatile at times.

However, they are also incredibly loyal and loving. Their fundamental bond is therefore normally very strong. Both parties just possess especially strong personalities and might benefit by understanding and accepting each other.

What is important to remember during disagreements is that some level of conflict is natural and normal in all relationships and the parent and child variety is no exception. No one, I repeat no one, no matter their star sign, gets on well with everyone else a hundred percent of the time. That would be abnormal!

We’re all unique and conflict and resolution play an important role in working things out. It’s also arguably better to discuss things openly as opposed to stuffing one’s differences down, allowing them to accumulate and fester.

Mutual Protection

Both signs are known for being highly protective of their loved ones. Some might even be a little over protective. These two signs are also associated with jealousy and possessiveness. Certainly, as a Leo myself I can attest to being extremely protective of my immediate family and closest friends.

Once your child enters adulthood they’ll probably be very protective of you, and anyone else she loves, even if right now, as a kid, it doesn’t seem that way. They might just need some time to come into her own and determine for themselves what is most precious to them.

A Shared Zest for Life

These two signs absolutely adore life. They strive to squeeze every drop of fun out of it as they can! And since they share such an intense appreciation for it, there is so much fun to be had at all stages of life. As a child, you may have taken your child trips abroad or to beautiful spots around your own country.

You also want your offspring to take on projects and learn things that aren’t necessarily taught in school to equip them well for adult life. When they’re no longer a child, or even a teen, the parent could develop some shared interests including vacationing in exotic and far away lands, which they’re likely to be thrilled about.

Shared Passion and Creativity

Because these signs are so very deeply passionate and creative, they might enjoy undertaking various creative projects together. As a child, they might enjoy baking delicious treats together such as cupcakes and cookies. As an older child, they could enjoy activities like woodworking or painting murals together.

As adults, the sky is the limit on the breath and scope of creative endeavours they could join forces on. While some of their shared projects may be rather small yet enjoyable, such as making beautiful desserts for their church, they might also opt some very big ones. For instance, they might renovate the family home together, or even flip houses together! How fun does that sound?

Working Together as Adults

These signs also share an independent, confident nature and entrepreneurial spirit they could do well in business together. I know a Scorpio mother — Leo daughter team who are an absolute commercial powerhouse. They run an online store selling stylish clothing and their enterprise is hugely successful. I believe their business turned over seven figures last year alone and they only started four years ago!

Most of their marketing in done on TikTok livestreams together. The camaraderie is evident and it draws people to them. Appearing as a family business has no doubt helped them find success because it seems people trust family setups a bit more than individual ones.

Their intense passion for more in life is undoubtedly their driving force. With the money they make, they’re able to live their best lives. They can buy the things they want and enjoy luxury holidays abroad, spa breaks, and much more. Their strong work ethic along with their intense focus and unbeatable determination has allowed them to prosper. But, I’m certain that it is their mutual respect, support, and understanding that has helped them navigate their differences and build a strong and lasting bond which allows them to work together so well.
