Neptune Enters Aries on March 30th 2025 Until 2039: Igniting the Dreamfire
Neptune has been in Pisces for long enough. Let’s welcome in a brand new energy that will help us to transform our lives.
From late January 2026, it will be firmly posited in Aries.
Personal Transformation and Renewed Energy and Confidence
Whoever said that Neptune, forever lost in its own thoughts and dreams, all turquoise and ethereal in appearance, wouldn’t ever be capable of dreaming up new and exciting creations, inventions and idealistic endeavors with powerful force when infused with fire? No one — because it can. Because it’s perfectly capable of having a fire lit underneath its ideas, bringing them to fruition in a confident and determined manner. And the fire that is about to be lit now is by straight-forward, determined, action oriented Aries.
Some might say that the combination of dreamy Neptune and no-nonsense Aries is a strange or difficult one, but I don’t perceive it as such. I believe that any and all energies can and do mix well — and all energies have their pros and cons anyway. Perhaps some have more pros and others more cons. Interpretations, of course, vary from astrologer to astrologer and channel to channel. How the energy manifests also depends on how you choose to perceive it and utilise it.
I feel very strongly that this particular combination of energies will bring action to long-standing ideas. It will propel us to take our dreams and desires more seriously, some of which were brushed under the rug long ago. Perhaps, at the time they were conceived they were dismissed as unrealistic or they required too much time, energy, or money to be brought to life. Maybe it just wasn’t the right time for them to be acted upon. But now, with the burning passion and intensity of Aries in Neptune, they can be recalled and brought into reality — finally!
Added Courage and Determination to Make Dreams Come True
But this transit won’t just help to bring old ideas to the surface and compel you to act on them. Aries is a cardinal sign and that indicates the creation of pioneering ideas. So it’s very likely that you’ll experience an especially creative period with fresh, interesting, useful and unique ideas.
On a personal level, I feel this energy very strongly. It may be more felt more by people, like me, who have been sitting on numerous plans and projects for long periods of time. I’ve had Stars & Paths Astrology and my YouTube channel, for instance, in mind from 2020! It took me many years (on and off) to get all of the content I needed together to launch this website and my career as an astrologer. I was also consuming a vast amount of astrology books and videos. But, thankfully, he we are. I’ve arrived. And if you’re reading this, just when Neptune has slipped into Aries, it means that I finally found the time, energy, and confidence to launch my astro work into the world. Perhaps you’ll find yourself launching a longstanding project into the world during this transit too!
I wonder how many people could have become brilliant actors, musicians, artists, chefs, entrepreneurs and so forth if they had just given it a shot or if they had persevered until they become successful. And how much our society would have benefitted from their talents and work. Recently, I’ve been re-watching Star Trek Picard and I found myself wondering where we would be without such a stellar (pardon the pun!) cast.
Jean-Luc Picard, played by British actor Patrick Stewart, fits his role like it was made for him. His deep, dramatic voice, his subtle, clever gestures and movements and the way he makes Jean-Luc a sincere, introspective man with great emotional depth and integrity may have been lost on another actor. He played the role so well over decades. Watching him, and the other cast members made me realize that we shouldn’t deprive others of what we have to offer. You just never know how your talent, skill or knowledge will touch others and enrich their lives. Go for your dreams — if not for your own sake, for the sake of others.
Taking the lead, if you so choose, in your personal or professional life, should happen with greater ease during this transit. For instance, leading at work, or leading yourself onto a new career path, or out of an old relationship or friendship, or into a new social circle, may happen more naturally with an increase in self-assurance, and with greater enthusiasm and positivity. This is a time to lead yourself into new, better things and perhaps also to lead others towards the same. By increasing your self belief and self worth, you may very well shine brightly and make new friends and connections as a result as they will be attracted to your positive, can-do energy.
Trauma, Unrest, Powerful Action and Transformation
The last time Neptune was in Aries was in 1865 and that year, the subsequent years, saw a great many discoveries and changes. The second industrial revolution began around 1870, when Neptune was firmly immersed in Arien energy and, of course, that ushered in — or more accurately, thrust in — immense change.
Those changes were brutal for many, though. For instance, factory staff were working in dire conditions for very, very little compensation and were forced to live in crowded hovels without what we would consider today as basic amenities like showers, indoor toilets, and running water. But each person in the machine was a cog and each cog collectively helped to explode productivity and propel society forward technologically. Our species developed through their hard graft, their physical pain, their emotional suffering, and their sacrifice of good living (and frequently also of literal limbs).
Other vitally important discoveries were also made that we enjoy and rely heavily upon every day of our lives today. The telephone and electricity, for instance, and the discovery that gas could be used to power machines. Steel and iron were utilised on a much larger scale to make machinery, automobiles, trains, all sorts of equipment, toys and lots more besides.
The KKK was formed during this period, too. With such severe division, injustice, and hatred, our species saw, again, the worst of Arien energy manifested — savage brutality.
Thankfully, humanity has come a very long way since the tail end of the 1800s. In the West, at least, we no longer exploit, limit, control and abuse others to the same extent as we see ourselves more in others now than ever before. The factories have gone, slavery has been abolished, casual violence and discrimination towards women and minority groups has declined, and so on. Through incarnation after incarnation, and life review after life review, each Soul has gathered that we ought to treat others as we wish to be treated, for we are one other; everything is one, ultimately. So this time round, Neptune colored by Arien energy should be different.
There are far too many people who are enlightened in 2025 to draw us too far backwards. Quite the opposite. No matter what, we will progress. Women have more rights, gay, lesbian and transgender people have more rights, employees have more rights, ethnic minorities have more rights, and so on. There is a greater appreciation for other lifestyles, races, religions, countries, languages, customs, and differences, whatever they may be, at this time on Earth.
I don’t believe for a moment that will move backwards in our humanity. Instead, this Neptunian transit will be guiding us to campaign, protest, and act upon the changes we personally want to see come into force. Without inflicting harm on others. I twill be our discussions with each other that will make our voices heard. With renewed energy, enthusiasm and determination we will become the change we want to see in the world. Perhaps there will be some brutality here and there, but this occurs no matter what is going on in the heavens. Earth stories of all kinds are always playing out. The heavens compel rather than direct.
Technological advancements are likely to explode. Not only because Aries is associated with advancements in tech but because Pluto is now in Aquarius and Uranus, the planet of technology and innovation is in the highly cerebral, logical, innovative and communicative sign of Gemini. What an absolutely fantastic combination for the technological advancement of our species! No doubt, we will see many more advancements during this time although we’ve already seen so many major ones like AI, quantum computing, gene editing and so on.
Of course, we must remember that our emotional and spiritual natures are equally important to work on and work with during this time. We don’t want to end up in a society that is too focused on tech and not so much on being civil towards one another and kind to our planet.
I don’t normally include this sort of thing in my astro interpretations but I think considering how intense Aries energy is, it’s important that your base chakra is closely observed during this transit. This chakra is associated with Arien energy and I think an effort should be made for it remain in check. It shouldn’t be too weak to begin the transit, it shouldn’t be drained during it, and it shouldn’t be locked in overdrive and set ablaze either. Remember to keep it in balance. You can do this by intuitively linking into it and sensing what it communicates to you. Does it feel right? Does it feel balanced and productive? Feel around in it before March 20th 2025 and every now and again during the years Neptune is posited in Aries.
What do you think will happen during this major transit in our society? How do you think you’ll feel and how do you see it benefitting you personally?
