Full Moon in Virgo on March 12th 2025

Letting Go of Perfection and Unnecessary Strife

We can’t do it all. We just can’t. Modern life can be hectic and demanding; the kids want this new expensive thing, the roof needs repairing, and the dog needs to visit the vet again… Such is life in 2025. As long as you’re doing your best, what more can you do? You may have been feeling exhausted lately trying to keep up with it all. Or you may have experienced a hugely productive spurt and as satisfied as it’s made you feel, it’s also made you very tired.

A Full Moon in Virgo wishes to instill in us, once again, the importance of taking time out. Life is busy, for most of us, but we can find some time to ourselves, be it an hour, or a weekend. Being organized certainly helps, and today offers us a celestial reminder of that with an urge to increase your organizational skills.

If you haven’t been especially productive lately, the opposite may be true; during this phase, you find yourself wishing to be more productive, but fear not, you will be. But first, take time to recharge your proverbial batteries. The quality of life, and work, increases when we are rested and feeling energised and balanced.

If you didn’t manage to complete certain important things during the First Quarter Moon in Gemini, which calls for things to be wrapped up so new things can be enjoyed, this is the time. The energy of this lunar phase may be felt as an urge to complete outstanding tasks, projects, and even gain closure on situations with people such as friendships or relationships.

Any issues surrounding communication such as talking too much, or having other, like friends communicate too much, may subside. Perhaps there was a lot that you, or them, had to get off your chests. Say what you need to say without fear. If they really have your best interests at heart, they will strive to see things from your perspective, even if they don’t agree with you. Full Moons, as you know, complete things, and so, this phase of intense communication may be at an end now that matters have been adequately ironed out.

Daydreams are wonderful, as is spending time in meditation, or simply quiet and stillness. But firm decision making combined with physical action is equally important because this aspect of your consciousness is currently on a dense, physical plane which requires physical action to make things happen.

If you’ve been thinking for a while about a new hobby, project, job, career, or business you’d like to start, the grounded and practical energy of a Virgo Full Moon may be felt pushing you to make a concise, realistic plan and finally just start. This is an ideal time for new beginnings and many of us are right on the verge of something very significant happening. But you won’t ever know how well you could do if you remain fearful about taking life by the reigns.

Do be realistic about your plans, but also, get on with them. You may have something wonderful to offer people, and if you keep it to yourself, they’ll never able to enjoy it! Share your light, your knowledge, and your creativity with others, and you’ll likely touch, or improve lives that you never knew existed.

This is a powerful time for grounding. We should all ground ourselves from time to time, even if that just means going for a walk in nature, or placing our bare feet on some grass. I like to walk barefoot on my garden every now and again, and even when it’s cold, sit in my little garden and breathe some fresh air, touch my cherry tree, and sip some tea.

You may feel compelled to visit places of nature and connect with it, and the natural ground in some way. Buying new plants and spending time with them, admiring their beauty, and watering them, helps to connect with them and ground you. Connecting with nature has the added benefit of detoxing —  from electronic frequencies, poor food and drink choices, stress, and more.

I find the the celestial elegance of a Full Moon on a clear night almost reverential. Its mesmerising mystical beauty serves as a reminder that there is so much more to the cosmos than just our little, albeit enchanting, planet, and our individual lives. I hope you enjoy it and remember that nothing in life is perfect, in fact, perfectionism can severely hamper our progress.

Much love to you all.
